New Technology for Plant Integrity Monitoring and Assessment
I.D.E.A.S. Ltd, have developed a totally new concept in the management of integrity for pressurised process plants. The technology is being described as the first truly Automated Fitness for Service and Real Time Integrity Monitoring System for a pressurised process plant.
The new technology is based on a combination of advanced measurements and complex analysis technologies and skills, generating automated fitness for service and real time integrity assessments for all asset management and inspection purposes.
The Integri-Tech software combines many technologies to give Automated Fitness for Service Assessments, and real-time, quantified, integrity information for inspection and NDT requirements.
Unlike all other methods, the service generates continual and accurate assessments of integrity for the plant as a whole, including every weld and fitting, predicts time to failure, and specifies time requirements for inspections and remedial action. Integri Tech optimises inspection for those critical systems identified in the RBI Matrix or Time plan by providing a quantified priority/criticality list of points /Welds/SBBs/Corrosion within each system thereby reducing the number of inspections required for that system.
The system does not rely on simple pressure or risk calculations, or estimation by measurements, and is not a database.
Integri Tech can be offered as a Consultancy service, stand-alone monitoring and management system or as a complementary service to RBI, time based (calendar) or code base inspection system.
